Welcome to the Nester Hose
Company Web site. This Volunteer Fire Company has been providing
fire protection to the citizens of Geneva for more than
100 years. The company was founded in 1886 by Samuel K Nester,
a prominent member of the community at that time.
We presently have a membership
of 240 volunteers. At the present time the company
responds to an average of 350 jobs per year, In addition
to firefighting the membership spends many hours in
training in order to keep up on their firefighting
skills. The company actively participates and supports
many community events.
